With over 35 years of experience in the tax field, Steven is the managing partner of Dorfman & Company and has guided its growth since he founded the firm in 1981. He provides tax planning and tax consulting services for privately held businesses and high net-worth individuals primarily in the real estate, construction, entertainment and service industries.

Steven also directs the business management department, supervising a staff of accountants and bookkeepers who provide a wide range of services for Dorfman & Company’s clients.  He began his career at Kenneth Leventhal & Co. and then spent four years as Vice President/Controller of a large national real estate development company, where he focused on financing and tax planning strategies for investment partnerships.

A Summa Cum Laude graduate, Steven holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles. He is a member of the Tax Division of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Steven is dedicated to the improvement of his community and serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations.

Aaron Dorfman CPA, is a professional with over 15 years of experience and expertise in tax planning, audit, financial services, and anti-money laundering (AML) compliance. As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), MACC, and an ACAMS Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist he has cultivated a deep understanding of the intricacies of accounting, catering to a diverse clientele ranging from high net worth individuals to small businesses and real estate ventures.

Throughout his career, Aaron has demonstrated a commitment to excellence, consistently delivering personalized services tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. His comprehensive knowledge and proven track record in the field of accounting reflect his dedication to providing top-notch solutions and strategic guidance.

Aaron's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Yeshiva University and a Master of Accounting from the University of Southern California.
